Dr. Hanookai is exceptionally proficient in bone grafting, gum grafting and replace missing teeth with dental implants and restore smiles to people who may not have smiled comfortably in years. She understands this is not just a clinical procedure; it can change a person’s life for the better.
Dr. Hanookai received her certification in periodontal dentistry and implantology from USC in 1998. She also received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from USC in 1994 and her Masters of Science Degree in Craniofacial Biology in 1998 from USC. Her education didn’t stop there however. She has continued to pursue advanced training at the Misch Implant Institute, one of the world’s most advanced training centers in dental implantology. She received her fellowhip from The International Congress of Oral Implantologists
Team Approach:
Dr. Hanookai is a former clinical instructor of periodontics at USC, as well as an award-winning periodontist. She won the California Society of Periodontology Award for her outstanding surgical skills. Dr. Hanookai is known for her excellent use of IV sedation dentistry with which she helps patients relax through their appointments. They simply go to sleep and wake up, and the procedure or treatment is completed. With her advanced laser dentistry skills, Dr. Hanookai can change the shape and look of gums in just a few minutes with very little discomfort. Laser dentistry often eliminates the need for sutures

His love of structure and perfection led him to pursue a degree in biology, followed by completing his dental degree, DDS at USC. His unique background and interests have made him an outstanding cosmetic dentist. Dr. Abaian puts considerable thought and planning into the design and treatment of a smile. He understands that a smile makeover is a deeply personal transition. Tooth color, length and width of the tooth, size and shape of the patient’s face – all are taken into consideration when designing a smile.
